FAQS

Our commonly asked questions about Edgitool

WHAT CAN I USE EDGITOOL FOR?

Any paint job where you need to prepare and paint surfaces that a traditional brush can't reach. The sandpaper end can slip into the smallest spots (under doors, or between timber louvred windows for example) where ordinary sanding would not otherwise be possible. Similarly, the applicator end slips into the tightest spots (sash windows and the like) to give that professional finish to a paint job.

CAN I USE MY PAINT PAD APPLICATOR AGAIN?

The applicator pads have been designed and recommended for 'one time' use, but provided you can clean the applicator thoroughly, the applicator may be able to be used again. In any event, additional applicator pads and sanding pads are available where you purchase your Edgitool.

WHERE CAN I BUY EDGITOOL?

HOW DO I CHANGE THE EDGITOOL PAINT APPLICATOR?

Changing the paint applicator is as simple as 'peel and stick'. Begin by peeling off the used pad at one corner, slowly pulling the square away from the tool. Then just replace the new Edgitool applicator - it just sticks straight on! Do the same with the sandpaper pad when it needs replacing - note though that the sandpaper is attached by Velcro™ hook'n'loop for durability.

CAN I USE EDGITOOL WITH ENAMEL BASED PAINTS?

Yes. The Edgitool paint applicator can be used with water based or oil based paints. When you're finished painting, wipe off excess paint, remove the applicator and dispose of it thoughtfully.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY EDGITOOL?

Edgitool will last you a long time if used as recommended and treated as you would your favourite brush.
